A ragged caravan winds its way through the forest of the outer Mirthan Empire towards the small town of Aser, the next stop on their route. So close to their destination, even the experienced guard Quae is beginning to relax.
But something in Aser is very, very wrong.
A sword and sandal tale of divine horror and family.
