It's easy to talk about secret rituals and dread spells; harder to devise them.

So this generator creates strange and haunting rituals, created with a view to compatibility with fantastical, dark settings and stories. Some have overt horror overtones, others are simply goofy things that even a normal person, particularly in a pre-modern world, might find themself sympathising with.

So what terrible thing are you doing? And what might it cost?

The generator gives the ritual's purpose, and follows it up with some combination of things the caster must have or do or sacrifice, places they must go, things they must avoid, and more...
